First introduced to Bitcoin in 2011 by his best friend, Peter was asked if he wanted to split the cost of a Bitcoin miner. While he did not understand it enough to be willing to invest at the time, this opened up a door he could no longer shut. He wanted to understand what exactly was Bitcoin and why did it matter? After researching over the next two years and several “A-ha!” moments later, he began to see the price rise from just a few dollars to $30 per Bitcoin.

After convincing his wife of the importance of Bitcoin in early 2013, they agreed to invest $5,000 and hold it for a minimum of five years. During the year the price jumped from $30 to $1200 per Bitcoin. At this point Peter tried to tell everyone he could about Bitcoin, its potential, and what it would mean for the world. Unfortunately few seemed to take any interest…
